The City of Flagstaff’s vision for this project was to provide unique aesthetic enhancements for this new extension of Fourth Street over the BNSF railroad. The project also provided a new connection and pedestrian link to the Flagstaff Urban Trail System (FUTS). CDG prepared the native plant inventory plans and all landscape and irrigation system design for this project. CDG also coordinated and worked with the City of Flagstaff Engineering Department and City Arts Commission to design unique fencing patterns and unique back-lit stone portal features at both ends of the bridge.
